Rename multiples files in 4 easy steps

Have you had lots of photos or files from your phone or digital camera that have a bad naming convention and need to rename them something more meaningful in a quick way, well here is one way.

  1. Select your first file/image
  2. Hold the SHIFT key on the keyboard and select the other extreme of your list to select all files/images in-between

  1. Press the F2 key on the keyboard
  2. Enter the new name for all the files, in my example, I typed “Mountain Bikes” and Press ENTER

That’s it! All the files have been renamed with the new text and number in brackets at the end
