Prior Knowledge

This course assumes no prior knowledge of Articulate Rise. It is suitable for complete beginners who want to learn how to create responsive, web based eLearning content quickly and efficiently using Articulate Rise’s intuitive interface.

Required Software

You will need an active Articulate 360 subscription to access Rise through your web browser. Rise is a web-based application, so no software installation is required, but you will need an up-to-date web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari recommended).

Course Materials

All exercise files needed for the course will be provided. In some cases, you may receive them by email prior to the training so you can download them in advance. Otherwise, everything will be supplied during the session, and no preparation is required.

Note About Different Versions

As Rise is a web-based platform that’s continuously updated through your Articulate 360 subscription, you’ll always have access to the latest version. The skills learned in this course will remain relevant as Rise evolves, and you’ll automatically benefit from new features as they’re released.

No need to spend 20 minutes figuring out why the volume button is launching the calculator instead. Your laptop comes with your personal setup of applications, customised settings, and existing files. Think of it as bringing your digital home with you, minus the dirty dishes in the sink. With your own laptop, you’ll have immediate access to your licensed software and saved preferences. This is particularly important for applications where having your existing login credentials readily available ensures a smooth training experience. Outside of the training room, my passions run deep, whether I’m spending quality time with my wife and son, sharing my four decade love of lacrosse with junior players as their coach, or cycling around Melbourne’s on either my road bike or mountain bike.
